For the Sake of us All

“When Israel fulfills her calling, the world will be a better place”

The following open invitation is for Pastors who sense God’s prompting to understand Israel’s role in the times we now live. To be clear, I am not a pastor but appreciate and honor those called by God to shepherd His sheep. It takes courage, compassion, and determination to pursue that role. I believe the trip described below will be for your inspiration and affirmation for both you and the pastors who serve as your brothers in Israel.

We are taking a limited number of pastors/leaders. If you are lit up by this opportunity and are eager to explore your role, contact us at comfortmypeople.com.

Greetings Pastor,

As I was awakening from an active dream, I perceived as it were, a giant accordion stretched across the Land of Israel from north to south, with a hand wrapped around each handle. As the hands moved toward each other I felt the pressure building up as though I was there. I realized I wasn’t, but the people of Israel were. As the pressure mounted, I sensed them looking for a way out but they dared not try because they knew the world outside hated them as much as the enemies surrounding them.

When I awoke, I felt God prompting me with this question.

“What are you doing about Israel?”

Instead of being defensive, I surprised myself by asking Him,

“What do you want me to do?”

Here it is.

I believe God wants me to bring Pastors and church or ministry leaders to Israel. He wants them to meet their fellow laborers, of both Jewish and Arab descent, who are laboring to bring the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah to their people under the most trying of circumstances.

The pressure of the war has sadly not been the only source of their national despair; one more factor underpins it—the American church has largely turned silent.

On October 8 Israel was inundated with pledges of support from Christians across America and beyond. But by November, those voices had become muted and then against them as the weeks and months dragged on. Almost instantly, America’s city streets and college campuses became organized and mysteriously funded. With 30 ft. banners, new tents, camping equipment, and Palestinian garb, they filled the air with hateful threatening chants for Israel’s destruction.

They memorized Muslim chants and so-called journalists accused Israel of purposely starving and murdering innocent Palestinians while denying them medical assistance. Though these accusations have been proven false repeatedly, the nations took it a step further to the World Court and United Nations, charging Israel to be a genocidal State.

In response to God’s question, I am looking for capable leaders who understand that Israel must play a role in the Body of Believers to restore the biblical connection of Jews and Gentiles as one new man. The insanity in our world is evidence that we must act and delay no longer.

True Brotherly love and spiritual authority is the world’s only hope. We must take steps in that direction. Together.

By the grace of God and obedience to Him, we will be in Israel in early to mid-September. I hope to bring no more than 10-12 people.

But I need your response soon.

We will visit important biblical and historical sites, but meeting with believers is our primary focus. We will either visit them where they serve or they will join us for dinner.

Comfort My People supports 12 ministries, and we would love for them to meet you. I am certain you will be blessed by each of them. We also plan to meet with Messianic soldiers and pray for them.

More details will come as we draw closer.

  • Please call me if you have any questions.
  • If this does not interest you, please email and you will get no other appeal.
  • The cost will be determined by the size of the group.

With much respect for your service,

Shalom~Paul

Green pastures and still waters can be hard to find, but a caring and courageous pastor is a shepherd in its own class.
